VINIFICATION AND AGEING
Planted in a precise Terroir in Herdade do Freixo, where the fresh winds of Serra d'Ossa predominate, the grapes are selected and harvested in the early hours of the day. After total destemming and light pressing, the must ferment in French oak barrels followed by batonnage for 4 months on fine lees. After the selection of the blend, the wine is filtered and bottled young in order to express the character of the Chardonnay variety.
CONSUMPTION AND LONGEVITY
Ideal consumption temperature at 10 ° C. It accompanies both simple dishes of fresh fish, salads and white meats, as well as gastronomy of strong oriental aromatic intensity and Mediterranean roasts and stews. Also combined with sushi and delicate fusion dishes, it harmonizes the aromas and flavors in a complementary and balanced way.
WINEMAKER NOTES
It reflects all the aromatic depth of the Chardonnay grape variety, but with the strong influence of Terroir do Freixo. It is a rich and expressive wine, with a golden and brilliant color. The minerality notes stand out in harmony with the fresh tropical fruits and the discreet toast of the wood. In the mouth it is wide, with white peach, pineapple, quince and with a buttery finish. Optimal acidity balances it and gives it length of tasting.
